Role Overview:
At a high level, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management and technical execution of media buying (SEM, display/programmatic, social media advertising, Amazon advertising).
You’ll also be responsible for working with the Marketing Director and respective team members on managing projects related to advertising and CRM, testing new advertising channels, and for staying on top of advertising and CRM trends, tools for optimization, and cutting-edge technology that can help us achieve our objectives.
Your Role’s Mission:
Your mission is to help the team hit our topline revenue and profit goals by figuring out ways to make our media dollars work more efficiently (specifically, we want to reach new consumers by connecting with them on different channels; profitably); effectively reaching new customers at an efficient cost through our paid advertising channels.
Your Responsibilities:
Paid Media - Google, Facebook, Amazon, Walmart, Affiliates, and more
- Build out media buying strategy for each of the various ad platforms
- Oversee the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and management of media buys
- Manage the paid digital budget, making sure to stay within budget
- Conduct in-depth research into optimal keywords and ad campaign structure and present ongoing actionable insights to the Director
- Come up with tactics to reach new customers at an efficient cost
- Brief cross-teams on monthly ad creative needs
Audience Building, Segmentation, and Management
- Manage active and identify new audience cohorts and segments, ensuring that they’re working and are being used properly
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to identify and pull customers from our e-commerce platforms
- Coordinate with the team to optimize landing pages for an ideal user experience
Event and Pixel Management
- Set up, manage, and monitor our tag manager and events
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues with our pixel and events data
Reporting
- Build out data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using our reporting tools (Data Studio, Google Sheets, other reporting tools)
- Report on your KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, calling out key insights, findings, trends, and concerns to the Director
- Identify promotion-specific trends within our paid channels and communicate with our Director and Marketing Team to outline changes or updates to promotional and creative needs

Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in paid digital media experience (ideally in-house at a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand)
- A solid foundational understanding of media concepts, terminology, and bid-based buying models with hands-on execution experience in paid search and paid social (ideally display too)
- An understanding of and experience in operating within paid digital platforms, specifically Google, Meta, Amazon and ideally TikTok too
- Reasonable availability to respond to requests and monitor/optimize campaigns outside of normal business hours in rare instances
- Experience managing pixels and Tag Manager
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proficiency in building reports and charts in excel/google sheets and reporting tools (Open to tools recommendations)
- Experience managing and developing audiences and events for targeting, inclusive of identifying and fixing any problems (we use tools called Heap and Segments)
- Bonus if you’ve had experience building and deploying emails and SMS messages within Klaviyo
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or 5+ years of related experience
