Summary

The Digital Paid Media Manager is primarily responsible for creating and coordinating the execution of paid search advertising campaigns across 4 key Covercraft brands. This position works directly with the platforms to ensure proper day-to-day execution, analysis, and optimization for Search Engine Marketing (SEM), retargeting, and Display advertising, but the position is expected to grow into other areas such as paid social marketing campaigns, or other paid media campaigns as Covercraft continues to grow in the future.

Functional areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: campaign setup, testing and optimizing campaigns, list management, smart segmentation, performance monitoring/pacing, budget optimization, and reporting/KPIs. In addition, the Digital Paid Media Manager will help support the Amazon Ads efforts if/when needed. The Digital Paid Media Manager must be data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable presenting to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels. The Paid Search Manager will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and assist in analyzing and prioritizing all digital campaigns and initiatives, working closely with the VP of Merchandising, Pricing and Promotions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Paid Media Manager

  • Primary focus on paid Digital Marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Merchandising teams to manage and oversee execution and Search Engine Marketing Campaigns (SEM), Display, retargeting, and potentially paid Social Media marketing campaigns.
  • Setup, optimize, and analyze digital campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft, Facebook and others as we grow in the future.
  • Work with our strategic vendors to identify and track emerging trends and competitors in SEM, continuously seeking areas of opportunity.
  • Shared accountability for the $8M+ budgets across 4 brands
  • Reporting utilizing Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI and Excel

Qualifications

  • Proficient with data analysis in Excel, including Pivot Tables & basic statistics. Experience in site side analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe analytics) is a plus
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet capabilities
  • Strategic thinker who is capable of efficiently finding important insights in large data sets
  • Get-it-done mindset implementing effective plans for acting on opportunities
  • Be a proactive self-starter and team player
  • Detail-oriented, confident in analyzing and acting on large sets of marketing data
  • Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in developing, launching, and managing brand and performance-driven paid digital media campaigns
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing SEM Google Ads pay-per-click accounts
  • 2+ years of Google Analytics experience for advanced analysis
  • Google Trends, SEMrush, Google Search Console and Tag Manager experience a plus
