The Paid Media Manager oversees the execution and effectiveness of the brand’s paid media efforts. As the Media Manager you will work closely with Havertys external agency partner to translate brand & co-op marketing and communication strategies into paid advertising plans. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders, marketing team members and the agency to further optimize performance.

Media Management & Stewardship:

  • Responsible for leading external media agency partner to define, execute and optimize integrated media strategies and plans for all advertising campaigns to deliver on Havertys marketing and communication objectives
  • Collaborate with agency on designing and implementing a robust test & learn roadmap
  • Partner with SVP of Marketing & Digital on strategic and quarterly planning
  • Collaborate with agency on strategic plans and initiatives for store openings
  • Manage key accounting initiatives and activity: ensuring plans (brand & co-op) stay on budget and are accurately invoiced, forecasting, working with Havertys accounting team on internal accounting reports and recaps
  • Develop strategic media briefs
  • Work with Havertys Brand Manager and Creative team to ensure integration between paid media, strategic messaging, organic and owned channels
  • Assist in communicating and merchandising to internal audiences Havertys media strategies, plans, optimizations, tests, etc.
  • Work closely with the Senior Website Manager on location services and review management

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of media planning experience (Agency experience preferred)
  • Hands on experience with full funnel marketing tactics, channels and ad types
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • A love for data-driven insights
  • Experience with Google Analytics (experience with Adobe Analytics a plus)
  • A self-starter with a curious nature
  • Strategic thinker who can still pay attention to detail
