About You
You're a digital marketer with a year or two of agency experience, familiar with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other programmatic advertising platforms. You are self-motivated - ready to grow and learn new platforms, new optimization strategies, and new ways to report on campaign success, but you aren't afraid to ask for help whenever you need it. You have an interest in the way marketing works (or doesn't work) in our lives, and a desire to explore its nuances alongside a team perhaps as nerdy as you. From running complex ad campaigns across social and programmatic platforms, to analyzing audiences and engagement patterns, your sweet spot is being able to dive into the details and make sure we are bringing the best campaign performance and insights to our clients.
About the Job
A successful digital media campaign lives or dies on its ability to connect to the right person, at the right time, with the right message - and generate a high degree of engagement based on the campaign's objectives. Madden is looking to hire a thoughtful, friendly, innovative Media Specialist who will be responsible for executing on our mission to bring the best omni-channel campaigns to our clients around the country. You will collaborate with a remote team of tourism marketing pros, and be placed within one of our key teams in the agency. We will hire someone who is as comfortable working independently as they are collaborating. Someone who communicates easily with team members, accepts feedback and critique as tools to improve, and most of all is eager to grow into a more experienced and well-rounded marketer. Your day to day role will include campaign deployments, optimizations, reporting, and providing key insights to other disciplines as well as clients.
Responsibilities
- Owns paid media strategies that deliver on campaign KPIs, objectives, and goals.
- Performs competitive and industry research to support and implement best practices for campaigns to achieve success.
- Collaborates with client and internal teams to align campaign strategy with established KPIs and meet campaign short-term and long-term goals.
- Interface with account leads regarding campaign set-up deliverables, reporting, strategy, account updates, and ad hoc client requests related to marketing
- Leads day-to-day tactics for their accounts: Manages campaigns, monitors, and continuously optimizes campaign budgets across platforms to deliver a positive return on marketing spend. Clearly communicates changes in the campaign to client teams and leadership.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of in-house or agency paid media experience required.
- Must be a team player with excellent verbal, written, and communication skills and demonstrate a positive attitude.
- The ability to collaborate with multiple team members, manage a high workload and work diligently under time constraints.
- Firsthand knowledge setting up, executing, optimizing, and scaling paid campaigns. (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and some Google Analytics experience expected)
- Must enjoy a good spreadsheet. We use Google Sheets, but if you are proficient in Excel, you'll do just fine.
- Must love and be able to communicate data-driven insights to our Account team as well as our clients
- Ability to juggle and prioritize a high volume of projects with top-notch organizational skills
- Travel and tourism experience preferred, but not required
