Responsibilities
- You love to partner with clients and advise them on how to solve complex media and performance marketing challenges
- You take great pride in getting forecasts right and, more importantly, beating expectations
- Manage large scale, complex paid media campaigns, primarily across paid search – using platforms such as SA360, Google Ads, Bing, and others
- You will ensure pacing, track performance, forecast results, implement updates, troubleshoot issues, compile and report on platform data, and interface with internal teams and clients
- Provide, execute, and iterate on recommendations for campaign structure, keyword opportunities, bid strategies, ad copy development, ad extensions, and other aspects of paid search to meet client goals
- Support campaign management and optimization across paid social, programmatic, and self-serve platforms – including DV360, YouTube, Meta, and others
- Manage multiple projects and drive hard to completion of tasks – contributing strong project management skills and organization
- Monitor industry changes and translate new developments into actionable recommendations
- Will proactively put in the effort to ensure flawless tactical execution
- Is a passionate, entrepreneurial self-starter; motivated, tenacious, and resourceful; works independently
Qualifications
- Can both develop strategy and do the hands-on-keyboard work to execute that strategy in SEM
- Understands platform best practices but also recognizes when best practices don't fit and thinks creatively about alternative approaches
- Wields strong analytical skills and can relate paid media metrics to clients' business goals
- Is extremely detail-oriented
- Is a team player with desire and ability to manage multiple relationships at a time
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a media agency environment with a focus on digital
- Deep expertise in Paid Search: fluent in account strategy and structure development, campaign implementation, optimizations and analysis
- Experience managing multi-million dollar search programs; recent experience with Google Ads and SA360
- Direct Response or DTC experience with full comprehension of business goals and DR best practices; past experience and deep understanding of the e-comm environment
- Deep understanding of the role of each paid channel, assisting with developing strategies for all media buys and ensuring full implementation and delivery of results
- Strong technical skills or ability to quickly learn technical concepts
- Advanced data analysis and presentation skills, using Excel / Sheets and PowerPoint / Slides
