Responsibilities

- This role is focused on the media planning and buying aspect of demand generation for our clients

- This role requires a skilled negotiator who can build long-term relationships with our partners while always prioritizing the best interests of our clients

- This role works closely with Media Planner(s), mentoring them, and overseeing partner buys and media planning across clients

- Responsible for digital media buying and planning through all steps of the planning process from arranging RFPs, partner evaluations, partner scoring, negotiations and final execution based on the goals and objectives of the campaign(s)

- End-to-end coordination and management of approved buys including creation of IOs, negotiating terms, overseeing trafficking and coordination of creative/deliverables, and ongoing reporting and optimization of the partner mix

- Recommend forward thinking strategies and innovations

- Proactively working with client services on campaign set-up and optimization strategy

- Work with the Media Planner(s) to provide analytical insights to the client

- Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of work produced for our clients

- Develop agency points of view on media opportunities for submission to the client

- Develop ongoing testing roadmaps for your channel(s) to continually improve performance

- Provide clear recommendations and requests to the clients when needed

- Work with Media Planner(s) to track and manage the delivery of programs, ensure that partner delivery is in accordance with the IO terms and negotiating make-goods where necessary

- Ongoing investigation & research of new media opportunities

- Ability to serve as primary client facing media campaign resource and subject matter expert

- Guide execution of customized strategy and recognizing performance of SEM, content syndication, programmatic display and paid social campaigns of B2B clients across multiple platforms

- Supports performance analysis including identifying performance drivers, recommending an appropriate course of action, evaluating progress and escalating as necessary

- Able to self-direct work and provide hands-on instructional guidance to junior team members, overseeing their work efforts

- Demonstrates leadership and knowledge sharing amongst their peer group and junior team members

- Stays current on industry insights and innovation, seeking to test/incorporate into campaign management activities

- Adheres and contributes to operational best practices

- Actively engages in departmental initiatives

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B media buying
  • 6-7 years of experience in media planning or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and concepts
  • Hands on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn, Content Syndication, Programmatic/Native Experience with 1:Many ABM and media technologies related to it
  • Proven ability to produce holistic and detailed media plans and proposals on a regular basis for clients based on briefs and meetings
  • Client-facing experience and digital marketing experience are a must
  • Detail-oriented with strong excel/analytical skills
  • Ability to find opportunities and insights from large amounts of unstructured data
  • Must be able to “tell the story” from data analysis
  • Technically adept with a pulse on trends and innovations within the digital space
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work with multiple clients and departments to accomplish goals
  • Superb time and project management skills
  • Professional in all client communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace and dynamic work environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well and contribute in a diverse team environment
  • Ability to proactively organize daily tasks and prepare list of to-do's
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
