Responsibilities
- This role will report to the Senior Director of Growth and Acquisition
- The Director of Paid Social will be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of large-scale paid social advertising campaigns in alignment with business objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies and campaigns driving new customer acquisition at scale
- Lead and mentor a team of Paid Social media buyers on their day-to-day roles helping them develop their industry knowledge, project management skills, and technical capabilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as brand, creative, product, merchandising, and analytics to create and measure the impact of engaging and effective ad creative
- Oversee day-to-day digital media campaign planning, execution, reporting, and analysis of large-scale, data-driven paid social advertising campaigns
- Identify and develop opportunities to further the performance of paid social through regular performance analysis and optimizations
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in the Paid Social industry
- Manage the Paid Social budget, ensuring efficient and effective spending
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Paid Social media advertising, with at least 2 years of experience managing teams
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing Paid Social campaigns at scale
- Strong understanding of standard approaches to data analytics, attribution, ads implementation, and platform integration
- In-depth knowledge of the Paid Social landscape and current industry trends
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and others
- Experience developing strategy, finding solutions, and communicating results
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and optimization
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
