Salary Range

$20 - $28

Responsibilities

- Media Planning & Innovation (60%) Partner with other marketing colleagues to define objectives, establish KPIs and plan budgets for media campaigns throughout the year across multiple industry and capability practices

- Leverage deep expertise across media channels, publications (top-tier and trade) and media outlets to identify and negotiate the best paid placements for practice-led campaigns

- Build and maintain library of target publications with contacts, offerings, and examples across all industries and capabilities

- Establish relationships with each individual publication and track results and benchmarks (cost and efficacy) to ensure alignment with business goals

- Establish a list of go-to media agencies for larger, firm-wide priority campaigns and serve as owner and day-to-day contact for agencies when executing campaigns, in partnership with practice lead

- Act as main POC for any agency or paid media-related RFPs

- Collaborate with PR team to ensure complementary earned and paid media coverage for priority events, IP and other marketing efforts

- Work with Bain's Brand Studio to develop and QC digital assets across numerous publications, building in a test and learn mentality to ensure we're constantly driving towards the most effective, innovative media creative for our business

- Dive into analytics platform to capture and share results of paid media efforts across multiple initiatives, identifying concrete opportunities to improve for future campaigns

- Ensure proper and consistent UTM strategy is utilized for campaign attribution and measurement across multiple media platforms in partnership with analytics colleagues

- Own the billing, budgeting and invoicing processes for paid media across all campaign efforts

- Stay on top of the latest and greatest industry trends relevant to paid media acquisition and optimization, and digital marketing in general

- Invest in the team's professional development through skill planning, formal and informal coaching, and performance feedback

- Proactively look for opportunities to communicate value and results of digital efforts, working to cultivate promoters throughout the firm

- Establish a team culture of collaboration, innovation, curiosity and passion; Cultivate a test and learn mindset throughout the team to ensure we're constantly pushing towards the best marketing solutions to meet business need

Qualifications

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university and 8-10
  • years of experience in media planning and strategy, ideally with some crossover into other digital channels search as social, search, ABM, etc
  • Experience creating B2B media plans across multiple top-tier and trade publications, ideally as part of a multi-channel effort
