Responsibilities
- He/she will be a campaign and optimization expert in paid media platforms and will serve in a key role to aid our company in providing an exceptional client experience
- Amplified’s Senior Paid Media Manager will be the platform expert and knowledge owner, collaborating with our account manager and Marketing Director to oversee and grow complex business, lead best practices, new feature roll outs and troubleshoot complex issues, while focusing on driving conversions and performing strategic optimizations based on client goals and KPIs
- Build and maintain a deep knowledge of paid media advertising platforms, as well as a general understanding of other media solutions offered by Amplified Digital and Lee Enterprises
- Own the knowledge and serve as the voice of paid media platforms, working to innovate our approach, solve problems, and identify new opportunities within the paid media space, and continually stay up to date on new trends, best practices and features
- Collaborate with account manager and Marketing Director, and participate on client calls as the lead product expert in paid media advertising, including conversations about campaign strategy related to paid media, campaign setup, performance/delivery, capabilities, and growth opportunities
- Setup, monitor and manage paid media campaigns, including but not limited to:
- Performing keyword research, PPC ad creation, and competitive research in an ongoing fashion
- Performing in-platform audience targeting research, campaign setup, and ongoing optimizations
- Managing budgets, milestones, optimizations, and deadlines for multiple simultaneous campaigns; measuring and reporting on optimizations and results
- Analyzing and reporting on campaign performance, and crafting recommendations for the client, Marketing Director, and Account Manager, highlighting future growth and development opportunities
- Proactively offer guidance and expertise to internal team and clients, ensuring campaign success and client satisfaction
- Work with agency vendors/partners and internal teams to measure and optimize marketing campaigns utilizing internal reporting platforms, Google Analytics, and Vendor/partner reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns including process, delivery and quality issues
Qualifications
- Interested candidates must be eligible and authorized to work within the United States
- 2-3 years of Google Ads experience
- 2-3 years of programmatic display experience
- 2-3 years of social advertising experience
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification / Google Ads Certification
- Google Ads Certified – Search Advertising (Required)
- Experience with various bidding/conversion strategies (Enhanced CPC, Target ROAS, Target CPA, etc.)
- Experience in high volume or complex campaign advertising fulfillment
- Deep knowledge of Google Tag Manager & Google Search Console
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong data analysis and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail driven
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage several tasks or projects at once
- Passionate about digital marketing and industry-specific trends
- Strong understanding of marketing data and analytics, particularly as it pertains to media optimization, and application to social ad campaigns
- In-depth knowledge of various paid and organic/presence marketing channels and technologies
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent related experience, including 2+ years in Digital Marketing sales or solutions fulfillment
