Responsibilities
- This individual should be agile, curious, solution oriented and eager to make an impact
- The Paid Medial Specialist will assist Account Managers, Marketing and New Product Development from start to finish, support new product launches, and play an integral role in optimizing site experience through set up and testing of various merchandising sorting rules, performing regular site audits, and optimizing relevancy on top keywords for each category
- This person will have a strong understanding of site merchandising best practices and strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, evaluate spend efficiency, and make decisions to further support sales initiatives
- Manage and review our Brand relevancy across top retailer websites (Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.), to include evaluation of our placement across each category’s top 3 search terms
- Utilize retailer ad platforms across different channels to place sponsored product ads, sponsored brand ads, and ultimately improve Brand and product relevancy
- Create action plan to address relevancy gaps, ensure strong execution of plan, and share insights and optimization success stories
- Provide weekly reporting on ad campaigns coupled with New Product Launch updates
- Work with the Marketing team to execute our New Product Launch strategy from 30 days before launch date to 60 days after launch tracking new item relevancy throughout the 90 day period
- Serve as liaison between revenue generation (sales) and marketing to ensure sales opportunities are maximized online
- Watch and act on industry trends providing competitive analysis identifying white space and opportunities
- Leverage customer analytics tools to improve brand relevancy and key metrics (i.e
- traffic, conversion, add to cart & cart abandonment)
- Prepare weekly and daily reporting for eCommerce to aid in accurate seasonal ad plans and strategy creation
- Works with the management team to team to optimize merchandising on the homepage, storefront, and marketing landing page
Qualifications
- 2 years retailer related eCommerce paid media experience REQUIRED
- A high sense of urgency regarding internal and external customer service
- Ability to work irregular hours especially during key seasonality periods
- Ability to manage multiple, detailed tasks with urgency and accuracy to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter who takes the initiative to improve processes; experience working as an individual contributor and team player
- Excellent written communication skills
- High aptitude for learning new software and understanding new technologies
