Responsibilities

- In this role, you will be mentoring and coaching the team in developing and implementing PPC strategies for our clients, monitoring the department budget with a growth mindset, and continuing to build upon our great processes

- Oversee, mentor, and train the PPC team to ensure execution of high-quality paid media campaigns

- Consistently demonstrate an in-depth knowledge & familiarity of all aspects of client's business and industry, including strategic priorities, performance results, competitive factors, and emerging opportunities/trends

- Develops strong relationship with key client contacts with an emphasis on client satisfaction, retention, and organic growth

- Analyze paid media performance, maintain reporting, and develop action plans

- Contributes and/or leads business development efforts when required

- Scale our operation through new talent, infrastructure, and platforms/partners

- Consistently demonstrate a focus on improving process and workflow, including (but not limited to) task automation, tool adoption, etc

- Identify new markets and experiment with new approaches for our paid media services

- Set expectations with paid media team on deliverables, quality of work, and skill sets required

- Accountable for fostering a positive team culture and implementing our shared values

- Working directly with executive leadership to ensure departmental performance goals are achieved

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of paid search management experience
  • 2+ years eCommerce and lead generation paid search experience
  • Experience leading strategy for enterprise level clientel and budgets
  • Experience leading strategy using 3rd party bid management platforms
  • Proficiency with Google Ads Search Network, Display Network, Google Shopping, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn Ads, Affiliate marketing, Google Analytics & Search Console
  • Comprehensive understanding of PPC best practices
  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Being a willing team leader AND team player: we win together, and if we lose, we learn, regroup, and figure out how to win the next round together
  • Functional HTML/CSS knowledge
